This Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 project was mainly about building a detailed and usable 3D model, not just something that looks good from one angle. I spent a lot of time on the body shape, panel gaps and proportions, but also on all the smaller parts that start to matter once you get closer to the car.
The model includes a detailed exterior and interior, with separate parts for the lights, glass, trim, mirrors, spoiler, exhaust, wheels, brakes and other smaller pieces. The headlights and rear lights were also built with their internal parts instead of just using simple textures, which helps a lot when viewing the model up close.
I also wanted the model to stay easy to work with, so most parts are separated properly and can be changed without making a mess of the whole car. Things like wheels, materials, body colour and other details can be swapped or adjusted quite easily.
The main goal was to make a solid R34 3D model that feels complete and detailed enough for close-up work, while still being practical to use for different automotive visualization projects.
