Cookie Policy
1. About this policy
This policy explains cookies and similar browser storage used on the Dimensionalworks portfolio website, automotive library and related public pages at dimensionalworks.com. The operator is Dimensionalworks OÜ. Contact: info@dimensionalworks.com. Our Privacy Policy explains personal-data processing and your rights.
Cookies are small records stored by your browser. Third-party requests may disclose personal information even when no cookie is placed.
2. Your choice
Optional Analytics and External media are disabled until you allow the relevant category. You can choose Accept all, Reject non-essential, or set individual categories and Save choices. You can change your decision at any time through Cookie Settings in the footer. Saving reloads the page so that the new selection takes effect.
The dw_consent cookie is strictly necessary to remember and apply the privacy choices you make. It is therefore used without separate consent. Where the associated processing involves personal data, we rely on our legitimate interest in recording and respecting those privacy choices. Optional cookies and the optional processing described below rely on your consent.
3. Necessary cookie
Name: dw_consent
Provider: Dimensionalworks OÜ; first-party cookie on this website.
Purpose: remembers your Analytics and External media choices, the consent version and the time of your selection. It is not an advertising identifier.
Duration: 180 days from the latest saved choice. An expired choice or a changed consent version requires a new selection.
The cookie applies across pages on the same website. It uses SameSite=Lax and is marked Secure when saved over HTTPS. Blocking it in your browser prevents us from saving your selection.
WP Consent API preference mirrors
When WP Consent API is active, first-party cookies named wp_consent_functional, wp_consent_preferences, wp_consent_statistics, wp_consent_statistics-anonymous and wp_consent_marketing communicate the consent state to compatible plugins, including Google Site Kit. These store allow/deny values rather than analytics identifiers. A configured API prefix can change their names. Their expiry is limited to the remaining lifetime of your saved choice; before a choice or after expiry they are session cookies. The primary dw_consent record remains authoritative. Marketing and personalization are not enabled by accepting Analytics or External media.
4. Analytics cookies — optional
Service: Google Analytics, integrated using Google Site Kit.
Names identified in the previous website audit: _ga and _ga_7TZ2C7R736. The current Site Kit measurement ID is G-7TZ2C7R736.
Purpose: distinguish browsers and maintain analytics session/measurement information so we can understand website use.
Activation: only after Analytics is allowed.
Provider: Google Ireland Limited for EEA customers. These are first-party cookies set on this website for Google Analytics.
The Analytics interface has no cookie-setting override enabled. Google's documented default cookie lifetime is two years, subject to browser limits. A previous website audit observed approximately 400-day expiry.
Cookie lifetimes may be shortened by your browser's privacy settings. You can inspect and delete cookies through your browser settings.
Enhanced Measurement is enabled for page views, scrolls, outbound link clicks, site searches, form interactions, video engagement and file downloads. These interactions are measured where the relevant content and supported functionality are present. Site Kit plugin conversion tracking is also enabled; logged-in website users are excluded from Analytics. Google Signals and user-provided data collection are disabled. The Analytics property is not linked to Google Ads.
Google Analytics is configured to retain event-level data for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months. New activity resets the retention period for the relevant user identifier, so this period may extend beyond the first visit. These settings do not apply to most standard aggregated reports. Analytics data retention is separate from cookie expiry.

5. External media — optional
Instagram content is provided through Smash Balloon and Instagram/Meta. With permission, your browser may request images or other content directly from provider servers. Those requests disclose connection information even if no Instagram cookie is stored. The presence of third-party cookies can depend on your login state, browser settings and the embedded service.
Google reCAPTCHA is not currently used on this website.
Provider information: https://privacycenter.instagram.com/policy/
If you reject External media, embedded content may be unavailable. Portfolio content and email contact remain available.
6. Withdrawing permission and deleting cookies
Use Cookie Settings to reject a previously allowed category and save. The site stops loading that category on the reloaded page. When Analytics is rejected, the consent script attempts to remove accessible _ga, _gid and _gat cookies from this website. It also removes accessible legacy sbjs_ attribution cookies; Sourcebuster/order-attribution scripts are blocked on the consent-managed pages.
The website cannot delete cookies belonging to another domain, inaccessible cookies or information already received by a provider. You can also use your browser's privacy controls to inspect and delete cookies or block third-party cookies. Deleting dw_consent removes your saved selection and you may be asked again.
7. Scope and changes
This policy concerns public portfolio browsing and enquiries. Administrator login and any future shop or checkout require their own applicable cookie information. We have not added a separate CDN or third-party security service. Zone provides the hosting infrastructure.
We update this policy when the website's cookies or services change. Where required, we request new consent before enabling a new optional purpose.
